Inspired by memories of the Netherlands —
the flat land, oversized skies, and that pale blue light that seems to stretch forever.
The figures drift through the painting rather than properly pose inside it. The lines wander, the bodies bend, and the dog quietly witnesses the whole strange scene.
I wasn’t interested in perfection here. I wanted it to feel more like memory itself:
open, slightly chaotic, sunlit, and difficult to fully pin down.
